There is no substitute for hands-on experiences! 🌿
Today, the children welcomed some very special visitors from @ragingreptilesllc and had the opportunity to meet an amazing variety of animals, including corn snakes, pythons, bearded dragons, lizards, and even an iguana! They observed each animal up close, learned fascinating facts, and, with gentle guidance and respect, had the chance to touch many of them. Their curiosity, courage, and confidence were on full display.
In a Montessori environment, we believe meaningful learning happens through real-life experiences. Connecting with the natural world helps children develop empathy, respect for living things, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. It was wonderful to watch their excitement and sense of wonder grow with every new discovery.

Car Wash Day is always one of the highlights of Summer Camp! 🚗🧽💦
The children had the best time working together to scrub, rinse, splash, and laugh their way through one of our favorite summer traditions at The Springs 💙
In true Montessori fashion, this activity is so much more than just fun. Car washing is a wonderful practical life experience that gives children the opportunity to care for their environment, work collaboratively, and build independence. The different textures, temperatures, sounds, and movements also engage the senses, making it a rich sensorial experience as children scrub, squeeze, pour, and rinse.

🌎✨ Children`s House International Festival ✨🌎
A beautiful way to conclude our Around the World themed week! Our Children`s House classrooms put together a wonderful presentation featuring traditional dances, fun facts, cultural artifacts, and beautiful clothing from countries around the globe. 🌍💃
Through music, movement, storytelling, and cultural exploration, our students celebrated the diversity that makes our world so unique. They learned to appreciate different cultures while developing a deeper understanding of the global community we are all a part of 💙
We love Water Day! 💦☀️
Our morning was full of smiles, laughter, and so much fun for our odd-numbered Classrooms! The children enjoying spraying water, throwing water balloons, running through sprinklers, and splashing on the splash pad.
Water Day is truly is one of the best days of Summer Camp!
Nothing beats the summer heat like Water Day! 💦☀️
Yesterday, our even classrooms had a wonderful time cooling off and beating the heat with a fun-filled morning of water play. The children had a blast running through the sprinklers, splashing at the water tables, and laughing together. It was the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors while making joyful summer memories with friends.
Due to the air quality alert, our odd classrooms will be rescheduling their Water Day. We know they were excited for the fun, and we can`t wait for them to have their turn when conditions are safe!

Our students traveled to Africa yesterday through the magic of storytelling with Mlanjeni and the Pajama Puppet Troupe! 🌍✨
As part of our Around the World theme for Weeks 5 and 6 of Summer Camp, they explored the rainforest, listened to wonderful folktales from Africa, and discovered how stories connect us across cultures. We love providing the children experiences like these to spark curiosity, nurture imagination, and help children develop an appreciation for the diverse world around them.
Our toddlers have been exploring the wonders of nature during Gardening Week! From creating their very own classroom garden beds to making colorful gardening crafts, they have been enjoying hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and connection with the world around them. 🌿🎨
The excitement continued as they released the butterflies they had been observing and caring for over the past few weeks. It was such a special moment! 🦋💛
